Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants

NWP Associate will work closely with experts in quality improvement and patient care. They will assist with a quality improvement project with mentoring and support from their dedicated preceptor and the NWP GME/UME (Graduate and Undergraduate Medical Education) team. Note: This position is a full-time non-benefited temporary position with a 3-5 month commitment.

Major Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Provide project management support
Shadow in clinic 1-2 days per week with a longitudinal mentor
Meet regularly with a faculty mentor to discuss projects and learnings
Document and record project progress
Provide other technical and project support duties as assigned
OHSU medical student who has completed their required course work mid year - before graduation and starting residency
An OHSU medical student within 6 months of graduation who has completed their required course work
In good standing at OHSU and receiving residency when they begin work
Commitment to enter training programs in adult primary care (IM/FM/Med-Peds) or psychiatry
