Newborn Nursery Opportunity - PNPs and NNPs considered!
Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for a pediatric nurse practitioner or neonatal nurse practitioner to work with our practice in Fort Worth! Our team includes in-house neonatologists and affiliated professionals, such as neonatal nurse practitioners, developmental pediatricians, cardiologists, MFMs, and pediatric surgeons. Details:
Provide 18-0-hour, in-house coverage in the newborn nursery, no call requirements
Responsibilities include admissions and management of infants in the newborn nursery, delivery attendance, transitional care, circumcisions and consultations with families
Neonatologist assistance/backup is provided as needed and in all high-risk situations
Opportunity to participate in education and quality improvement initiatives
Flexible work schedule; work 13-16 days per month with some weekends
Unable to consider FNPs for this position

Current APRN national specialty certification
Minimum of a masterâ™s degree
