OverviewThe Value Analysis Specialist, RN is responsible for the systemwide oversite of medical supply selection for all WakeMed Med Surg Nursing Units and Physician Practices. Manages and leads WakeMed's Med Surg Value Analysis Committee (VAC) with product selection, cost/benefit analyses, identifies clinical quality impact, and ensures compliance with Group Purchasing Organization contracts. Presents research on clinical quality and cost to the WakeMed's Value Analysis Steering Team (VAST) lead by Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) for product selection.
