This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) - Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2pm - 1030pm
The Pressure Injury Prevention (PIP)/Skin Nurse will use the nursing process and work in collaboration with the healthcare team, Wound/Ostomy team, patient and family to promote patient skin health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an Accreditation Commission for Nursing (ACEN) and/or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited graduate school of nursing. (Required)
Experience
3 or more years of clinical experience (Required)
2 or more years of pediatric clinical experience (Preferred)
1 or more year of skin/wound experience (Preferred)
Experience with pressure injury prevention/hospital acquired condition (Preferred)
Certifications
Current BLS certification for Health care Provider from the American Heart Association or obtained by start date (Required)
Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date (Required)
Current PALS certification for Health care Provider from the American Heart Association or obtained by start date (Required)
CWOCN Certification within one year of employment to stay in this position (Required)
