Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an advanced practice provider to join the Department of Internal Medicine specializing in Geriatric Care, located in Horseshoe Bay and Marble Falls, Texas.

·         Travel Required to most Hill Country clinics

o    Reimbursement for mileage form home clinic

·         Part of a care team - extend access for patients

·         Fulltime flexible schedule

·         Outpatient

·         Primary care work with Geriatric population

·         Telemedicine days - remote opportunities

·         Providers can take advantage of the abundant resources of the senior care beneficiaries.

o    Pharmacy support

o    Social support

o    RN care manager

o    Transportation for patient (up to 60 miles)

About the Community

Internal Medicine clinics in the scenic Texas Hill Country are searching for an advanced practice provider passionate about Geriatric Care to assist in the following areas: Horseshoe Bay, Marble Falls, Burnet, Kingsland, and Llano.

Texas Hill Country is located 1 hour outside of Austin, being close enough for frequent visits but far enough from the hustle and bustle for a quite retreat. Enjoy rolling hills, history, lakes, and amazing scenery in the rapidly growing region. Offering multiple lifestyle options - lake living, ranch acreage or suburban life all not far from the Texas Wine Country with award-winning wineries and breweries. Texas Hill Country provides a great work/life balance with activities ranging from: local family farms, abundance of hiking trails, seasonal town festivals, antiquing, and shopping to name a few.

In the Texas Hill Country, residents have the opportunity to visit iconic Texas towns such as: Fredericksburg, Wimberly, Dripping Springs, New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, and more in less than a 2-hour drive.

• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -

       Nurse Practitioner (NP)

       Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
