Schedule: PRN, 100 hours, day or night shifts available, will accommodate your need
The role you’ll contribute: Assists patients with the activities of daily living, performs patient care tasks and maintains a safe and clean environment. Completes tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice as defined by the North Carolina State Board of Nursing.

Performs patient care tasks in a safe and competent manner without significant deviations from the standard of care.
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Nurse Intern plans, coordinates, and implements care in a timely manner based on individualized needs of patient.
Under the supervision of a RN, the Nurse Intern coordinates care with RN and other interdisciplinary care team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Demonstrates ability to recognize changes in patient status and report those changes to RN/LPN immediately.
Observes complete and timely documentation by RN that assures accurate reflection of care provided.
Under the supervision of a RN, provides appropriate communication with multidisciplinary team members, patient’s, and their families.
Responds to patient's request for assistance in a friendly, timely manner.
Refers problems/concerns to appropriate personnel immediately upon patient/family request.
Maintains communication with RN/LPN throughout entire shift to ensure accuracy of information and care provided.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Senior/second year nursing student
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nurse Aide Certification
Senior year/level nursing students; must be currently enrolled in a nursing program with minimum completion of first year RN curriculum. Maintains educational requirements of Nursing program.
Current American Heart Association BLS
