The role you’ll contribute:
The Registered Nurse (RN) for the Employee Onboarding Clinic works closely with the Employee Health Supervisor, as well as with the Reginal Employee Health Manager, Medical Director and other clinical and non-clinical staff members of AdventHealth to provide exceptional medical care to our team members. The RN performs a variety of occupational health services which include new hire screenings, provide immunizations, blood draws, reviews vaccination records and lab results, respirator fit testing, and drug screens. May be required to assist in blood/body fluid exposure surveillance, medical illness/injury triage, and basic first aid. Is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment for employees and co-workers. Follows all AdventHealth employee health and infection control policies and procedures in accordance set by AdventHealth.

·Works under standing orders from the Medical Director to perform various clinical duties. Maintains a working knowledge of various immunizations required for HCW’s in a hospital setting, adhering to the policies and procedures set by AdventHealth.
·Knowledge of EMR system for record keeping for employee medical records. Performs daily EMR report checks for accurate data entry and scanning.
·Performs proper and legible documentation for orders, procedures and assessments in accordance with AdventHealth policy.
·Able to facilitate processing of employees from new hire to annual compliance. Able to accurately facilitate the new hire screening process including but not limited to, measuring height, weight, blood pressure, vision and color screening, urine drug screen collection, following proper chain of custody in accordance with 49 CFR Part 40 (40.33) Federal DOT Chain of Custody procedures.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
·Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
·Must be a Registered Nurse who is currently licensed in the State of Florida.
·Maintain current CPR certification.
Preferred qualifications:
oOccupational Medicine
oCertification in urine drug screen collections chain of custody
