Under the general supervision of the Director and/or Coordinator, performs a variety of duties within the Surgical Services Department. Assumes responsibilities, assists/coordinates activities with surgical room turnovers, surgical case room setup, surgical patient transfer, knowledge, and skill in the use of aseptic technique with instruments and equipment.
Qualifications- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Three (3) to six (6) months on-the-job training to be proficient in all phases of assigned duties including basic computer skills.Â
- Prefer completion of Central Service Technician course and/or prior experience in hospital setting with experience in Surgery and/or Sterile Processing
