SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing proficient direct and indirect nursing care of patients/families assigned under the direction and supervision of a physician and/or Registered Nurse. LVN practice is performed within the scope of LVN licensure and in accordance with Valley Children's policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma
Completion of an LVN program
Active California LVN license
IV Certification required
Minimum of 1 year of related healthcare experience is required
One year experience working as an LVN is preferred
BLS HeartCode required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
Bilingual skills preferred
POSITION DETAILS: Temporary, Per Diem, must be available to work a minimum of 4 shifts per 2-week pay period. Initial onboarding/orientation will be 1 full week Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm, then 3 x 11.5 hour shifts per week for 2 weeks then 2 shifts per week after that.
