The role you’ll contribute:
GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency room setting. Communicates with physicians / team leaders/ coworkers, as appropriate about changes in patients clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, can perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
Qualifications
Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities:
Manage emergency patient situations such as codes
Maintain mental and reasoning capabilities
Prioritize work
Education and Experience Required:
Two year degree in nursing
Maintain professional licensure of a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky
Maintain CPR certification
Obtain ACLS
Obtain PALS
Successfully completed arrhythmia recognition competency during orientation
