Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Emergency Department at Chilton Medical Center. 7pm-7am

Essential Job Functions:

Emergency Department nurses specialize in assessing, intervening and stabilizing variety illnesses with decisive action. Candidate must have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Must be competent in reading EKG's, and obtaining IV access. The nature of the emergency room requires RNs to handle complex, rapidly shifting and fluid situations. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families. Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job. Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.

Education:

BSN required

Required License:

Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, PALS, required

Related Experience:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience. Telemetry/ ED experience is preferred
