Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Patient Care Technician for the Nursing Resource Department at Overlook Medical Center to work 7pm-7:30am including 2 weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
Assisting patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing.
Obtaining and recording vital signs, weights, and heights.
Assisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities.
Performing post mortem care.
Measuring and recording I & O.
Performing EKGs, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring.
Observing and reporting changes in patients condition to the RN.
Maintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory and all other duties assigned.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care with a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
HS Diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience:
Previous healthcare experience or nursing student strongly preferred
