Bryn Mawr Medical Specialist Association is in search of a full-time Nurse Manager. This person will be responsible for daily clinical staffing and the efficient flow of patients through the Endoscopy center. The Nurse Manager utilizes and provides direction in the nursing process, standards, performance improvement process, and the allocation of resources within established reimbursement parameters. They will be in charge of managing and overseeing clinical nursing operations and staffing resources.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Supervises clinical nursing staff and non-nursing clinical staff
• Maintains all facility, policies and procedures, programs and plans for continued compliance with CMS certification, AAAHC accreditation, and state requirements
• Responsible for relevant training and education of clinical staff, including initial orientation, ongoing competency assessment and related mandatory educational topics
• Responsible for clinical nursing staff and non-nursing clinical staff schedule
• Maintains accountability for staff performance and efficiencies, making changes to staffing patterns to maximize quality patient care and efficient resource utilization
• Maintain and improve efficient patient flow
• Maintains open communication with key individuals
• Directs purchasing and management of medical supplies and drugs
• Responds to patient complaints specific to the clinical staff and issues related to the clinical environment
• Prepares interim and annual evaluations of staff performance and competence within employee's appraisal period for compliance to job description, expectations and goals
