Shift Schedule - Part time, variable shifts
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple is currently hiring nursing students for the Nurse Tech Program. This work-study program is an opportunity for undergraduate nursing students to improve their clinical knowledge and skills, while establishing relationships with staff and leaders in the acute care setting and bridge the transition to Graduate Nurse with increased confidence and competence.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be currently enrolled and completed their first semester of an accredited Associate or Bachelor of Science nursing program
Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per pay period (16 hours over a two-week period)
Must be available to work during summer and winter breaks in alignment with academic calendars

Registered Nurse preceptor and mentor assignment
Ongoing skill competency validation
Progression plan
Structured unit rotations
Ability to work on a dedicated unit during final semester until transitioning to the GN role

Education
High School Diploma / GED Equivalent
Currently enrolled in ADN or BSN program

Certifications
Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire
