Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Ketchum is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to join our team.
Position SummaryThe Administrative Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the medical center in collaboration with facility leadership and is the senior in-house administrative representative after hours for the medical center.
Day or Night shift available, 12 hours shift with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day oversight. Is a resource and operational expert who collaborates with and supports the department/organizational leadership in problem solving and utilization of resources for optimal patient care outcomes.
- Provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff.
- Works collaboratively with the Transfer Center to facilitate the throughput of patients by developing plans for managing patient flow. Will place patients based on capacity and resource availability.
- Assists with coordination of schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Resource and operational expert who collaborates with and supports the department/organizational leadership in problem solving and utilization of resources.
- Serves as administrative authority for the smooth function of all units on assigned shift.
- Apprises leadership of operational issues and seeks guidance as necessary.
- May serve as contact with members of the media, law enforcement, and other community agencies, in alignment with system policies. Serves as the Incident Commander during a disaster.
- Exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving problems within established policies and practices. Serves as expert and resource to staff.
- Coordinates quality initiatives and process improvements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Assocates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's of Nursing Degree strongly preferred.
- Experience: 3 years' clinical experience in assigned area
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure in State of Practice
