Join our Nursing Assistant Registered to Nursing Assistant Certification Program and MultiCare will pay for CNA education if you join our team! We have openings at various locations in the South Puget Sound area.
The targeted start date for all candidates hired into this role, is June 20, 2022.Earn a paycheck while getting paid training by MultiCare.The candidate will have a "benefit eligible" position, at the time of NAR hire. (You are being paid during the program.)MultiCare will pay for the C.N.A. education/course.Qualifications:
No experience needed. NAR licensure: An N.A.R. licensure is not required at time of application or hire. MultiCare will cover the cost and work with the candidate/employee to get completed within 2-4 weeks of hire date. CPR Card: A C.P.R. card is not needed at time of application/hire. MultiCare will cover the cost and will be done after their hire date. Note: Candidates with a pending/current C.N.A. license, or completed a C.N.A. training course are not eligible for this program. NAR PROGRAM Duration· This program is through Tacoma Community College. · The first three weeks there will be class 4.5hours per day (4pm-9:30pm), with no class on Friday's. · There will be a schedule for the other 3hrs during that time, and that schedule is to be determined at this time. The other two weeks, full time hours at the site. Week 1: NEO (Virtual), Onboarding On Site and Didactic/Lab Week 2: Onboarding On Site, Didactic/Lab Week 3: On Site (should have received their NAR cert) Week 4: On Site Week 5: On Site The candidate will sign a one year agreement, if hired, to stay with MultiCare at least on year, due to the investment. Upon successful completion of the program/education MultiCare will cover the candidates first testing for the N.A.C. certification. The employee will be given 60 days from completion of the training to pass their NAC test. Once the C.N.A. test is successfully passed: The employee will pay and obtain their N.A.C. licensure. The shift in which interested in (day or nights) and payrate, hired into, will be updated accordingly.At this time, the final C.N.A. positions once the program is completed are: 8fte nights or .8fte days, (64hrs a payperiod), 8hr shifts. There are various units at our hospitals, available.Minimum Requirements: Previous patient care experience preferredEducation/Licenses/Certifications: Nursing Assistant Registered Licensure obtained within 2 weeks of hire Current CPR Certification preferred.
