You will:
Empower, adopt, and engage the workforce while leading the delivery of exemplary Nursing Care in accordance with the mission, vision, value and goals of MSK.
Adhere to all regulatory standards; promote patient safety and innovation.
Collaborate with physician and administrative colleagues to implement all operational aspects of high quality patient care delivery in our Peri-anesthesia and Diagnostic Imaging units.
Provide cross coverage to acute care, IR, and other ambulatory services at the Koch Center.
Supervise Registered Nurses, and nursing support staff, as well as management of Human Resource issues, including hiring, transfers, terminations, corrective action, on-boarding, training and development.
Will play a pivotal role in providing transformational leadership by building and sustaining a healthy work environment that supports and promotes excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice and patient safety.
You have:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing with matriculation in a MSN program required. (MSN highly preferred)
Related nursing certification required
BLS for Healthcare Providers required
NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license and registration
A minimum of 5 years recent, related clinical experience
Proven leadership and superior communication skills are crucial
Hours: Monday-Friday with flexible hours between 7am-7pm
