Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for Unit 1 Hussey/Cardiac Progressive Care at Newton Medical Center primarily working 7:00am-7:00pm, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Function:
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
- Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Purpose, Respect, Innovation, Diversity and Inclusion and Extraordinary Caring) in every aspect of their job.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.

- BLS Required
- ACLS Required
- NIHSS Certification Required, Cardiac Teletry
Relevant Experience:
- Candidate must have 1-2 years of med/surg experience, preferably in an acute care setting. Any other combination of experience: acute care, cardiac tele/progressive care, step down is not required but would be beneficial, willing to train to these skill sets.
