Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time (4 night shifts, 9pm to 6:30am, per week- no weekends) Assistant Nurse Manager to work in our Med/Renal/Gastro Unit at OVerlook Medical Center.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
- Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families. Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
- Leadership capabilities with a desire to lead a team.
- In tandem with the leadership team and unit manager this candidate would ensure compliance with unit policies, staffing, discipline and budget. This candidate would serve as a unit resource and promote staff and program development.
Qualifications
Education:
Required Certifications:
- BLS preferred
- ACLS preferred
- MS Certification Preferred
Relavent Experience:
- We are seeking a Full Time Assistant Nurse Manager for our Medical unit. Nights 9PM to 6:30 AM as well as an occasional day shift for meetings and administrative duties
Candidate must have at least 3 years bedside RN experience in an acute care setting
