Position Summary:
The Hospital Supervisor is responsible for the operations of the Hospital on his/her shift, including patient flow/throughput, patient care, personnel assignment and management, and trouble-shooting/problem solving. The Hospital Supervisor confers with nursing staff, Leadership, Physician and other department personnel as necessary to meet the overall patient care operations of the hospital. This position is also responsible for the distribution and utilization of available resources to provide safe patient care based on hospital-wide assessment in a quality and cost effective manner.

Minimum Requirements:
5 years recent clinical experience in a tertiary acute care setting
2 years of experience and demonstrated skills in a leadership or a supervisory role
Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hire
Advanced Degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
ACLS certified or must become certified within 6 months of employment
Health Care Provider CPR certification required
DMCC Training within 30 days of hire
WATrac Training within 60 days of hire
NIMS training within 90 days of hire
