Overview
Overlook Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby Unit/Maternity Unit to work 7pm-7:30am including weekends as requested by department.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Education:
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required
- BLS required
- NRP required
- Maternal Child preferred
- Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby Unit.
- A minimum of one year of acute care Mother Baby nursing experience in a hospital setting is strongly preferred.
- A year of inpatient acute care RN experience required.
- Must be able to provide care for mother and baby as a couplet in a Baby Friendly Environment
