Nurses at LaRabida are focused on providing exceptional care for the children and in return develop outstanding skills to guide them through a continuum of basic patient care through more complex assignments, assessing the needs of acute and chronically ill children using effective communication with patients/families and team members. Our Nurses use the nursing process in a family-centered interdisciplinary context to coordinate care and achieve team goals.
Plan, organize and deliver direct and indirect nursing care to children and adolescents with chronic illnesses and disabilities.
Utilize evaluative judgment, specialized knowledge and professional level nursing skills in your care of your patients with a family centered approach.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who work daily to help raise possibilities for our patients.

What we need from you:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Nurses with Associates degrees will be considered if they have significant prior experience in pediatric care.
Licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Illinois required
