The Mental Health Clinic Nurse meets the needs of customers while supporting the medical center and service missions. Consistently communicates and treats customers (patients, visitors, volunteers, and all medical center staff) in courteous, tactful, and respectful manner. The Mental Health Clinic Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) who utilizes the nursing process to assess, coordinate, facilitate and deliver nursing care to psychiatric patients in the VA Central California Health Care System. The Mental Health Clinic RN manages the nursing care of mental health patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The incumbent will work on in the Mental Health Clinic (MHC) which provides patient centered, quality and efficient care to Veterans with mental health and chemical dependency disorders. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
