Exciting Opportunity – We are seeking an eager, experienced RN to take an active part in developing our Comprehensive Stroke Center!
The Stroke Coordinator provides leadership, program management, and operational direction for the Stroke Center Program. This position oversees and ensures compliance with all regulatory standards related to Joint Commission certification and facilitates educational opportunities across the continuum of care.
BSN required, MSN preferred
BLS required, ACLS preferred
Current CT RN License
Prior experience with oversight of a clinical program preferred, providing health education and caring for neurology/stroke patients
Demonstrated leadership skills
Strong interpersonal skills- ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively with all members of the health care team as well as with outside organizations
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Analytical and process improvement skills
Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
