The primary function of a professional nurse in Employee Health will be assessing, planning, directing and evaluating all yearly requirements for employees to be in compliance with OSHA, CMS and JCAHO.
The Employee Health nurse will conduct all pre-employment screening in conjunction with Human Resources. Assess and evaluate employee's physical ability of all job categories 3 and 4.
Assist Employee Health Director in implementing and maintaining updates in order to comply with NIOSH, JCAHO, OSHA, CDC, TDH and any other governing agency.
Attends advanced training in areas of specific needs applicable to Employee Health.
Assist with the investigation and reporting of infectious identified and maintains records of all hazardous exposures
Maintain employee immunization.
Assist with maintaining the recordkeeping system to ensure that Employee Health records are current
