This position is responsible for ongoing daily administrative and clinical operational issues throughout the hospital during the night shift. Provides administrative support and expertise to staff, patients and families on site as a representative of hospital management. Leads or participates in planning, directing, and implementing projects. Promotes the philosophy of patient centered care. Assists in the development, monitoring, and implementation of a cost-effective budget.
This position is responsible for the patient placement process which supports both Acuity Adaptable Care Model and Patient Flow Value Stream visions. This position requires the full understanding and adherence to the designed standard work to ensure timely and appropriate placement of patients and optimize cost efficiency of unit operations/supplies and nonclinical systems for the assigned shift.
Previous House Supervisor or leadership experience preferred. In lieu of this experience, consideration will be given for clinical staff with strong education and associated experiential background.
Three – five years direct patient care in Critical Care area. ICU preferred.
