RN NEW GRAD RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Nurses at the George Washington University Hospital are delivering world class care through their capacity to think, study, research, discover, evaluate, teach, learn, refine and innovate. In 2015, GW Hospital was just a few of hospitals in the nation, and the only hospital in DC to be recognized by The American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP®) for its meritorious outcomes for surgical patient care.
Nurses and every employee at GW Hospital take part in our Service Excellence Program. The program is guided by three standards: "Treat everyone as a guest. Demonstrate professionalism and excellence in the things I do. Practice teamwork." These Service Excellence standards help to determine everything we do and everything we accomplish. Our nurses make a difference in the quality of healthcare we provide to our patients in the communities we serve.
