As the Hematology/Oncology Department at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center continues to grow, we are seeking experienced and qualified nurses to join our team to work 8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday. If you’re interested in working 20, 24 or 32 hours a week or per diem, we have added new positions just for you.
With an unwavering commitment to nursing excellence and professionalism, our nursing team provides comprehensive care to patients undergoing a wide variety of hematology and oncology diagnoses such as:
Brain cancer & skull base cancer
Gynecologic cancer (ovary, uterus)
Head & neck cancer
Leukemia & lymphoma
Pancreatic cancer & bile duct cancer
Skin cancer (including melanoma)
Thoracic (lung/mesothelioma) cancer
In addition to a BSN and at least one year of nursing experience in an acute care or sub-acute care setting, ideal candidates should have:
Previous experience in Radiation Therapy or Hematology/Oncology is preferred
ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card is preferred
Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license (or eligibility)
Current BLS and ACLS Certification with American Heart Association
Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
