Operating Room or Surgical Experience.
Experience w/AORN guidelines and infection prevention practices in the surgical setting

This position requires mastery in knowledge of the risk of infection in the Surgical Patient Population which includes neonates and transplant patients. It also requires independent critical thinking and excellent decision making skills which allow quick communication of findings with leadership and implementation of action plans. You will communicate with and direct leadership, staff, and physicians in processes to maintain and improve patient/staff safety and the prevention of transmission of infection.
